The simple answer is: because we're honest. Radically transparent. What that really turns into is being something that you've never seen before. My name is Justin Richardson. I run this entire show. People have said I'm a true marketer who happens to one of the best loan originators in the State. What makes a good loan officer? Honesty. Hard work, good intentions, sharp mind, and big imagination does. Experience has given me insights that I could easily start up a marketing business and have it be a raging success....but that would mean ripping a lot of hard working Texan's off.
We're in such an age that the unknowns of online capabilities or misconceptions have those less inclined spending money for marketing webinars, strategies, secrets, and anything that is a 'quick success online' pitch but doesn't reveal anything until you pay $50 up-front! And you see these Facebook ads everywhere because selling the marketing has never been so lucrative. You don't need to know anything to get some baby-boomer to 'give it a try'. Now, I don't mean to insult may favorite generation, but my 3, 4 & 7 year old all can work a tablet better than my 68 year-old Mother. She got a new printer because she thought it was broke....turns out it just was out of ink.
I've had six-figure a month marketing budget and was responsible for finding tools with the absolute best ROI...the hidden gems. Well, I'm showing them all to you for free here online. There's no secret. Just experience when to use this product/strategy versus this other option, and in what combination for which target market whose data source came from where? :) Nobody fits into one little secrete. It's finding ways to spend more of the 20% part of Pareto's 80/20 rule which is producing and not wasting time.
Example: I sit on hold for 30 minutes to get a payoff and updated verification of employment. What else could I be doing during that time? Now, you're debating whether to continue showing homes to a customer who is all over the place and has wasted days if not weeks of your time. My strategy is to help agents spend time with the right people (based on their raving fans of past transactions), and I do so on the computer while I'm hold for days on end. I spend time doing things you don't want to nor have experience in and probably aren't any good at.
Everyone runs into spells of hot streaks and valleys. However, I choose to work with good people who put an evident share of their time into helping my business and can tell they truly care about me and my family's success. At that point, I don't care if you want to take 3 months off, I'm still going to keep up your activity levels. This business challenges long-term relationships with missed closings, unforeseen dilemmas, company changes, and the ups and downs of a good month after a bad one.
Momentum is tremendous asset in real estate. It's the most valuable aspect of a respected partnership and friendship because of how one party can keep or enhance the momentum of the other's success.
